Sure I know it’s a video game and not something we carry at Multiverse, but I’ve been a fan of Sid Meier’s games since Civilization first came out for the PC in 1991.

Sid Meier’s Starships takes place in the same universe as Beyond Earth and will reportedly have some interconnectivity between the games. What that entails I don’t yet know. Check out the great write up done by Owen Faraday at Pocket Tactics

So it looks like I’ll be adding yet another Civ based game to my Steam library. I’ve been playing Civilization Beyond Earth quite a bit since it released last October. Although the 31 hours of played time pales in comparison to the 630 hours of Civilization 5 that I’ve logged, and the countless hours I’ve spent in the rest of the series.

Sid Meier’s Starships is set to release March 12th and will be available on PC and the Ipad for about $15.00
